It therefore deploys training systems for all lines of business and employees in the company, be they in operations, support or management.

Preparing the jobs of tomorrow

In its digital shift to industry 4.0 and in anticipation of the skills that will be required by future technologies, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û is preparing today for the jobs of tomorrow.

In order to strengthen internal skills and have a pool of well-trained employees that meet the specific needs of its technical and maintenance occupations, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û has created its own qualification courses. The Group is also very active in its relations with engineering schools and higher technical institutes with the aim of recruiting on a long-term basis for occupations facing shortages, through internships and apprenticeship contracts.

аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û deploys a Group safety approach, "We are all are responsible for improving safety", which aims in particular to strengthen prevention and spread safety culture through reporting dangerous situations and near misses and analysing risks.

аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û has set itself the ambitious objective of halving its FR1 every two years. Awareness-raising and prevention actions have contributed to significant reductions in accidents in recent years. Nevertheless, safety is a constant struggle. Production unit HSE audits and campaigns to improve the visibility of safety policy are regularly conducted on all sites.

аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û takes into account the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) for workshop staff. A Multidisciplinary Committee, composed of method managers, the medical department and the occupational physician, analyses workstation ergonomics prior to implementation of new machines.

For аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û, quality of work life (QWL) is one of the major levers of its development: being well at work supports company progress.

In France, working groups are leading the way in prevention of psychosocial risks, harassment and addictive behaviour. A survey is conducted every two years to take the full measure of these factors.

With its corporate agreement on professional equality signed in 2017, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û is pursuing its objectives of increasing the number of women in its workforce and its policy of maintaining employment. This action results in looking for internal reclassifications and/or the creation of jobs for people with disabilities leading to incapacity for work. It is supplemented by internal insurance plans.

The status of SCOP (cooperative production company), which is specific to the parent company in France, reflects cooperative and humanist values throughout the Group. The celebration of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û's 85th anniversary provided an opportunity to introduce and share these values with subsidiary employees.

Solidarity is reflected in the possibility of granting days off to employees whose dependent children are seriously ill.
